Trimming versus Edging a Lawn
Trimming you lawn is like icing on the cake. It’s not necessarily needed, but it makes for a much prettier display. Trimming will help add that manicured touch to your lawn.
Edging is a vertical cut and trimming is a horizontal cut. Trimmers generally use heavy nylon string that rotates in a circular motion, parallel to the ground. However, edgers use short metal blades similar to a lawn mower blade, positioned perpendicular to the ground.
Of course trimming or edging your lawn isn’t nearly as glamorous as mowing, but the difference between a good lawn and a great lawn may be a trim or edge away. With industry-leading expertise, The Grounds Guys® are ready to assist you with all your landscape management needs.
