  Built around the tale of a prince that was never loved by a princess and his eventual death. The princess found that she did love him and proclaimed that her heart would always bleed because of her grief. The bleeding heart is a member of the poppy family and resembles the traditional symbol of the heart and contains a long green stem.

• Amy Farrah Fowler: The Water Lily

  The water-lily is a large plant with large green leaves. The plants can support a lot of weight and have adapted to their environment by growing thorns on the bottom of their leaves to keep predators at bay.

• Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz: The Tulip

  With a height of four inches, tulips come in a variety of colors and since being introduced into a new environment their popularity soared. They have a colorful outside and dark center.

• Howard Wolowitz: The Snapdragon

  Snapdragons are cold-season annual plants that do best in full sun and well-drained soil. They are available in dwarf form and come in a variety of colors.

  The corpse flower, in its natural environment, only grows in the Sumatra rainforest. It is a large inflorescent plant and does not contain any branches. It has a hard time self-pollinating and very rarely flowers.
