Justin Boer - Lawn Maintenance Team Lead

Meet Justin Boer. Justin is our Maintenance Team Lead in Training and became a Grounds Guy in March 2020 shortly after moving from Davenport, IA. One of our Transplanted Texans, Justin moved here when his fiancé’, Sarah, was accepted to Graduate School in Austin. We call him the Animal Whisperer because if there is an animal at a client’s home, it will find its way to him and that includes everything from cute baby bunnies to BIG spiders and snakes.

Justin brings 3 years of maintenance experience with him and is hard-working, conscientious, courteous, and very customer-oriented. His friendly manner and personality make him a favorite with our clients and their satisfaction is important to him. Multi-talented, Justin’s passion is creating Cosplay Costumes and is one of 30 invited to the C2E2 Crown Championship of Cosplay for the past 3 years. If you see Justin out and about, please give him a big Texas HOWDY and help us welcome him to the Lone Star State.

Milton Slater - Project Team Lead

Meet Milton Slater. Milt is our Project Team Lead and has been with the Grounds Guys since January 2019. One of our Transplanted Texans, he moved from Colorado Springs to help the owners establish the business. He has been a valued team member since we opened for business in February 2019. Milt is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and he genuinely cares about his work, our clients, and our company.

Bringing 20+ years of maintenance experience with him, Milt is honest, hardworking, friendly, and very responsive to the needs of our clients. Milt can handle a variety of project work and is always willing to learn how to do new things to fulfill the wishes of the client. He is a proud Veteran of both the US NAVY and US ARMY and his desire to serve others, especially fellow Veterans, remains strong. Dedicated to the core, he will not be happy unless the client is happy.
